Gillian started sewing from the very early age of seven. Growing up, she made many beautiful memories with her mom as they made fun dresses and outfits for special events together.
The collaboration continues as Gillian and her mother, Maggie, are both teaching at Lilax Studio!

In her final years at the University of Winnipeg, Gillian rediscovered her passion for creating unique costumes and clothing through their theater department's costuming course.

In 2016, Gillian founded her own company called "Enchanting Fabrications", proudly catering to "nerd culture" via custom accessories, one-of-a-kind cosplays, and deluxe costuming.
