Winter Bucket Hat — Stay Warm in Style!

Summer is gone and winter is on its way! Let’s put a twist on the classic Bucket Hat and make it amazing for winter weather.

Using a wind- and water-resistant outer shell and a cozy Sherpa lining, you’ll create the most bodacious bucket hat in your group! Who says winter means giving up style?

Join Beth for an afternoon of sewing, learning and fun as you create your very own winter-ready Bucket Hat. Beth will share plenty of sewing tips and tricks along the way, guiding you through every step—from understanding which fabrics are best to putting on the finishing touches.

You’ll leave with a warm, stylish hat made by you and ready to take on the winter weather.

Winter doesn’t mean you have to give up style!

Every project you complete adds to your sewing skills that can be used on future projects. Learn by doing.

Students must be able to load a bobbin, thread the machine and sew at a moderate speed.

Important Information:

Everything needed to successfully complete the projects is provided, including sewing machines, sewing tools, fabrics, and notions. All you need to bring is your creativity and enthusiasm!

Indoor shoes/slippers: Please bring a pair of indoor shoes or slippers to wear in the classroom.

Food & drinks: No food or drinks are permitted in the classroom.

Water & washroom: A water cooler and washroom are available on site.
