Introduction to Sewing Zippers

Curious about zippers but not sure where to start? This class is the perfect introduction!

We’ll explore the different types of zippers available and where to use them, so you can confidently choose the right one for your projects. During class, you’ll learn how to sew a standard dress zipper and discover a few different techniques for adding zippers into garments, bags, and more.

By the end of the class, you’ll complete your very own zippered pouch to take home—practical, stylish, and made by you!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Everything needed to successfully complete the projects is provided, including sewing machines, sewing tools, fabrics, and notions. All you need to bring is your creativity and enthusiasm!

Indoor shoes/slippers: Please bring a pair of indoor shoes or slippers to wear in the classroom.

Food & drinks: No food or drinks are permitted in the classroom.

Water & washroom: A water cooler and washroom are available on site.
