Need to refresh your sewing skills? Join us for a ‘Sew-cial Refresher’; this 1-day sewing workshop will reacquaint you with previously acquired sewing skills. Enjoy a more personal learning experience in our small class environment. 

 Requirement: Previous sewing experience required 

• Small class sizes: 6 students 
• Class length: 1 x 6hr 
• 10am – 5pm (1 hour Lunch Break) 
• For ages 16+

SCHEDULE

This is a One-Day Workshop running from 10-5pm on December 15th, 2024

Workshop outline: 

• Sewing Needles (what needles for what fabrics) 
• Different stitches & their appropriate uses 
• Sew perfect straight lines, and accurate seams 
• Turn corners and sew smooth curves 
• Neaten raw edges 
• Trimming and pressing 
• Edge-stitching and top stitching 
• Stitch Ripping 
• Hand-stitching (includes sewing on buttons) 
• Various types of seams and taking up hems 
• Sew in different types of Zippers
• Make machined buttonhole 

Workshop with all supplies included $200.00 plus tax
