Two-Needle Beading Workshop w/ Cynthia Boehm - October 11th

Join Cynthia for a three hour beading lesson. In this class you will learn
the two-needle beading technique. Kits will include all materials
required to complete a small beaded pin cushion.
Cynthia Boehm a beadwork artist, born and raised in Norway House
Manitoba enjoys carrying on the tradition of her ancestors. The love an
appreciation for the art form was only strengthened when Cynthia
discovered her great grandmother’s art, which is housed at the
Manitoba Museum and prompted her to extensively research the
historical beadwork and embroidery patterns of her Cree-Métis
ancestors. Her work is not only reflective of her desire to create
beautiful pieces but to honour the women and the history of her home
community.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Learn in a cozy environment where supplies are included. The classroom is fully equipped with conventional sewing machines & all the tools you need.

Small classes mean more time with your teacher.

Please bring slippers/indoor shoes for the classroom.
